Mission

Statement

David Strong for Families foundation is an organization that provides financial assistance to families with children undergoing treatment for life-threatening diseases. Accordingly, the organization hosts an annual Golf Tournament in efforts toward achieving this goal.

About Us

As a family, The Estevez's have experienced first-hand the excruciating pain that comes from losing a child/brother to cancer. David Strong for Families foundation (DSF) began in an effort to continue to raise awareness and offer some financial support to families of children undergoing treatment for life-threatening diseases.

DSF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2024 with the purpose of helping these individuals maintain the same fight, strength, and love for life that David had. "David Strong" means to have the power to withstand anything.

The Estevez Family and DSF are committed to honoring David's legacy by supporting and serving others during difficult times.

David's Legacy

David Estevez was born into a family with a love for sports, most notably, Baseball and Golf. During his young years and through high school, David had committed himself to playing Baseball. He was competitive, but enjoying himself was always the priority on the field. David's first job was at a Golf Course where his appreciation for the sport grew. In addition, it became a staple to play with his father, brothers and cousins on the weekends.

His hallmark laugh, positivity, faith and love for competitive sports is a legacy that precedes him. To know him was to love him.

David has taught us that one way to have a rewarding life is to LIVE LIKE DAVID!

Our Mission

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, DSF was able to bring smiles to a few children and their families at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital this holiday season. Your donations and continued support made it possible for us to donate gift cards, offering a small moment of comfort to these brave young warriors. Together, we’re making a difference—one gift at a time, and THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!
